This month’s spotlight is on Lena Buckham, Investment Associate at Fortress Financial Group. While many of you may already know Lena, we thought it was a great time to reintroduce her. Lena joined the Fortress team in 2024 and quickly became an important part of our client experience and day-to-day operations.
Lena brings over a decade of experience supporting clients through their financial journeys. Prior to joining Fortress Financial Group, Lena worked with a major bank-owned firm, where she developed a strong foundation in investment management, client service, and financial operations.
After spending several years in the bank-owned environment, Lena made the move to the independent advisory side and has enjoyed the flexibility and client-focused approach that comes with it. She appreciates being part of a team where ideas can come to life and where recommendations are built around what is best for each client. Lena is excited to continue growing in her role and contributing to the continued development of Fortress Financial Group.
Lena is passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers whenever she can. She continues to work with Saskatoon Dog Rescue and has recently joined the Soroptimist Club, where she looks forward to building new connections and supporting meaningful community initiatives. This summer, Lena has been staying active and connected through outdoor adventures like camping and paddleboarding, while also enjoying time with friends and family.
When she’s not busy volunteering or exploring new adventures, Lena enjoys relaxing at home with her two dogs, Shylo and Wilbur, who keep life active and entertaining.
